waste some hours.

Have you ever noticed that everything we're doing is just a way to kill time until something exciting happens? I mean, you hear all of this stuff like, Live in the now, live for the day, live in the moment. But really aren't we just killing time before a better day? Aren't we always just counting down the days until some big event. Oh its monday, that means only four days till its friday again! Yay. Oh, 25 days till Christmas! Honestly, it seems to me that we are always counting down the days or the hours till something. Oh, I only have to blog for 20 more minutes before I can go to lunch.. sweet. It's like everything we do is just a way to push aside some boredom for a few hours before the real fun begins. But if we're always counting down to something are we ever really enjoying what we're counting down to? We spend all year waiting for our birthday or for Christmas and then it's over and the count down starts again. Why is it that certain days or events mean more than others. Okay, so maybe thats a stupid question because some days are just always going to be better, but can we ever do something meaningful with everyday to make it not such a waste of time. Because really, the way everything is now, thats what it feels like. Everyday in between the important ones is just a waste of time. Are we all going to look back on our lives and say look how many days we wasted, how many hours, just wishing it was a better day?

I agree almost everyione countsdown to some kind of *special* event. When they are doing that, they are just wasting their lives to wait for one single day. Maybe these people should live their lives how they are and not be waiting for that day..
